IMEA, Interface Module, IEEE 1394 and USB

This is the IMEA interface board for the Contex, GTCO Calcomp, Vidar and some OCE scanners. Manufacturer's part number is 6835A001R01. This board has the external Firewire and USB connections.

This board is new old stock from Contex and is no longer available from Contex. Limited to stock on hand. When these are gone, there will be no more new stock available.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Obviously, we cannot guarantee that replacing this board will fix your scanner and we have no way to test the board if it is returned. Therefore, it is provided AS IS and with no warranty. The price has been reduced by 90% from the original list price to reflect this. The board can only be returned if an RMA number is given and the seal is not broken. If the return is accepted, a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from any refund.

This board is used on scanner models GN67D, GP67D, HA68A and HB68A. You can find the model number on the back of the scanner. Also, the model number is the first 5 characters in the serial number. See below for a list of model names:
